I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event, organized by Parks & Trails New York (PTNY) in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) and local Friends groups, to celebrate and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs.
Last year over 8,000 volunteers took part in more than 250 projects at 125 state parks, historic sites and public lands throughout the New York. We have two projects this year, sponsored by Friends of Catharine Valley Trail and supported by the Coleman and Susan Burke Center for Native Plants. You and your family are welcome and encouraged to help. More information on each project is below.
